Ann Budd’s Fading Memories Shawl Pattern

Although this day has passed. We still offer kits in a variety of yarns for those who missed this event but would still like to contribute to the cause and make a beautiful shawl. Note: The Civility specially dyed for this event is in limited supply, as is the Kit by Jorstad Creek.

As caregivers for many people we love – including parents; Alzheimer’s is very personal to us here at Bazaar Girls. When Ann Budd mentioned she was designing a Shawl as her 2020 project for The Longest Day, a fundraiser sponsored by Alzheimer’s Research (www.alz.org), we were eager to be involved. The idea is that participants engage in a favorite activity from sunrise to sunset on June 20, the longest day of the year. On this day she’ll knit another version of the shawl and post her hourly progress on Instagram (annbuddknits). For every pattern Ann sells, she will donate $5.00 to www.alz.org. For every shawl’s worth of yarn we sell, we’ll donate 10%.
